Another way to add a music sticker is to click your profile, the right-most tab on the bottom of your screen. Once you are there, make your way to your profile picture and tap on the plus sign. Instagram will then ask you if you would like to put up a story.
Now, you will be able to put up a story. If you’ve enabled Instagram to access your camera roll, you can swipe up and select the photos or videos you would like to upload. However, you can also click a picture or record a quick video via the app itself. To do this, all you have to do is tap on the Story camera.
Once you have chosen the photo or video you would like to upload, tap on the sticker icon at the top of the screen, or just simply swipe up. Over here, press the Music button. If you have already got a song in mind, you can search for it in the search bar. Instagram also allows you to search and pick for a song that matches your mood, your favorite genre and artist. How to Add Music to an Instagram Story With Lyrics?

If you are a fan of Apple Music and want to let your followers know of a song you’ve recently discovered, you can do so via Instagram Stories. All you have to do is open up Apple Music and find the song you want to share with your followers.
Tap on the three horizontal dots towards the right of the screen and tap on Share. Now, swipe till you find Instagram. The Instagram app will now open and you should be able to add the song to your story.
Keep in mind, however, that the song won’t play on your Instagram story. Instead, if your follower taps on the Story, they will be redirected to Apple Music, and the song will begin playing.

If you primarily use Spotify to listen to your favorite tracks, you can add songs to your Instagram Story from the Spotify app too. To begin with, open Spotify and play the song you would like to share. Look for the three horizontal dots at the top of your screen.
