Panasonic RP-HS46E-K Headphones: Goodbye Insomnia?

Panasonic Rp-hs46e-k Headphones

You’ll find different types of headphones on the market. From over-the-ear to in-ear headphones, every type having advantages and disadvantages of their own. One such kind is the clip-on, on-the-ear headphones.

The Panasonic RP-HS46E-K headphones are one of the most affordable and comfortable clip-on headphones on the market. They’re headphones that everyone can easily afford. Panasonic is a brand name that we associate with the words ‘Trust’ and ‘Quality.’ Panasonic claims that the RP-HS46E-K headphones carry the torch further.

So, we put them to the test. Our team of experts grabbed a pair of these headphones and following were the results.

Unboxing the Panasonic RP-HS46E-K Headphones

Well, the unboxing wasn’t anything spectacular. The simple box of these headphones just holds the headphones and nothing else, as such. These are wired headphones and the wire is also non-detachable.

Design, Structure and Quality

The Panasonic RP-HS46E-K headphones are one of the most comfortable headphones on the market. They have to separate earpieces, unlike many on-the-ear headphones. The earpieces are super slim and compact, therefore not putting any weight or pressure on your ears. Their compact design also makes them very light-weight and easy to care around for travelling. Also, due to their concealed look, they’re even preferable at work.

But, this compactness also raises some questions? Are the just compact or are they flimsy? Are they just light-weight or has the durability been compromised? From what our experts observed, they are just good enough for the price that they come at. You couldn’t really ask for too much more.

They have been designed in a way that they completely cover your ear. People have often searched around for headphones that they can use while sleeping and these seem to be the perfect choice for the same. In fact, the Panasonic RP-HS46E-K headphones are the most comfortable headphones to sleep in, as per our experts.

So, for the insomniacs out there, these headphones are a great addition to their tool-bag. Coupled with ‘Relaxation Apps’, these provide for very nice aid in helping to get a sound sleep. So, put on some soothing music, clip these headphones on and head to bed! Even though very comfortable, we would still not recommend these headphones to people with very large or very small ears. That is because the fit may not be appropriate for them.

Sound Quality

To be honest, we weren’t expecting much from the Panasonic RP-HS46E-K headphones on the sound front but the results were surprising. These docile looking headphones come with 30 mm audio drivers in each of the earpieces, resulting in  powerful sound output. The bass, contrary to assumption, was well present. The headphones strike a very good balance between highs, lows and mids, which is something everyone needs. The sound clarity of the headphones is also phenomenal. The sound quality is not as high quality as you may get from higher-priced headphones.

Of course, with no add on features, one must not expect too much when talking about noise cancellation. But, due to the way these headphones have been designed, they provide for a good level of natural noise cancellation. How so? Because they cover your whole ear.

Final Word on the Panasonic RP-HS46E-K Headphones

All in all, we couldn’t find many flaws for such an affordable price point. The headphones serve their purpose, i.e., good audio output with a comfortable fit.

So, if you really don’t have much to think and are on a shoestring budget, go and get these without a doubt. If you have any questions, queries or suggestions, please leave them in the comments section below!
